Knoxville, TN – Barry Lucas, President and CEO, announced today that FFD and Sechan Electronics entered into an agreement whereby Sechan will provide FFD with development funds to advance the functionality of Sequence for the Military and Aerospace manufacturing sectors.
According to Lucas, “Our goal is to develop Sechan into a showcase site for Sequence Software in the Military & Aerospace Contract Manufacturing Sector through a partnership to yield enhanced features and functionality critical to Sechan at an accelerated pace. Sechan’s funding and industry knowledge will allow us to move ahead in a much more focused manner to solve a pressing need for one of the fastest growing sectors of the US economy.”
Sechan has been a Sequence customer since early 2006 when a six-month search and evaluation process culminated in the selection of Sequence. To summarize Sechan's decision: 'It wasn't a controversial choice for Sequence as it had capabilities with more immediate as well as future benefits, none of which were included in the competitors at the time.' Dave Williams, President of Sechan, sees this agreement as a win-win for both organizations. "In transferring our needs to the Sequence staff, they will gain more specific industry knowledge that will enhance the sales experience with other companies in their vertical. At the same time, this agreement offers Sechan a quicker path to new features and functionality in a package that is already "an integral part of our business."
